Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Sign Maker/Installer to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be responsible for crafting custom signs with precision and installing them safely and efficiently at client locations. Your expertise in sign manufacturing, installation techniques, and visual design will help bring our clients’ branding visions to life. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of signage projects, from conceptual design to final installation.
Duties
- Cut, shape, assemble, and finish signage components with precision, utilizing tools like CNC machines, vinyl cutters, and hand tools.
- Working in shop fabricating aluminum, wood, plastic, and illuminated signage.
- Measure installation sites accurately to ensure proper placement and alignment of signs.
- Install signs securely on various surfaces using appropriate hardware and techniques while adhering to safety standards.
- Perform quality checks on finished signs for consistency in color management, typography, and overall appearance before installation.
- Collaborate with clients and team members to interpret design concepts related to branding, motion graphics, logo design, and visual aesthetics.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored after each project.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate ideas clearly to clients and team members.
- Ability to operate sign fabrication equipment safely and efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong attention to detail in cutting, painting, building, and installing.
- Experience with power tools and working with your hands.
- Being coachable and having a learner's mentality.
