Responsibilities
- Manage daily center operations, including staff scheduling, classroom supervision, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for children and families
- Ensure all activities adhere to state licensing requirements, health and safety regulations, including first aid, pediatric first aid, and mandated reporting laws
- Oversee curriculum implementation that supports child development instruction, early childhood education standards, and classroom management strategies
- Lead staff recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and ongoing professional development in areas such as special education, behavior management, and classroom experience
- Foster open communication with parents through regular updates, meetings, and collaborative problem-solving to support each child's unique needs
- Maintain accurate documentation related to child supervision, incident reports, health records, and compliance audits
- Promote a positive team environment focused on caregiving excellence, Toddler care expertise, infant care practices, and working with children with disabilities
Experience
- Bachelor degree or higher in early childhood education, child development, human services or a related field with at least one year of teaching experience
- 5+ years of proven experience working with children in daycare centers or early childhood education settings
- Demonstrated classroom experience in preschool or toddler care environments with strong child supervision skills
- Prior leadership or management experience in a daycare center or similar setting preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and teaching experience with young children
- Familiarity with daycare licensing standards, safety protocols including first aid and CPR certification and fire safety a must (or willingness to obtain) before hire
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly valued
- Strong communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration

Pay: $51,500.00 - $52,000.00 per year
