Quality Inspection Technician – 2nd & 3rd Shifts Available
Location: Charlotte, NC – Old Statesville Road
Pay: $22.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Work Arrangement: 100% on-site-site-site
Available Shifts:
- 2nd Shift: 4:30 p.m.–3:00 a.m.
- 3rd Shift: 10:30 p.m.–6:00 a.m.
- Occasional weekend overtime may be required based on business needs.
Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspection Technician to join our manufacturing quality team in Charlotte, NC. This role is ideal for someone with experience in manufacturing, quality control, or inspection who takes pride in accuracy, product safety, and getting things right the first time.
You will perform independent audits and inspections of product testing operations, verify critical quality checks, maintain accurate traceability records, and collaborate with Operations and Engineering teams to resolve quality concerns. Your work will have a direct impact on product reliability, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform independent audits and inspections of Burst House testing operations for air-cooledoledoled products, including helium and pressure-based leak testing, as applicable.
- Verify that leak checks, burst tests, and post-test inspections are completed according to approved work instructions, control plans, and engineering specifications.
- Confirm that operators perform all required inspections and tests correctly.
- Validate test results, pass/fail decisions, rework actions, and related documentation.
- Audit testing areas for equipment condition, calibration status, safety interlocks, proper fixtures, and standardized-work compliance.
- Identify, document, and escalate nonconformances, test escapes, and process deviations through the quality management system.
