We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our dynamic warehouse team. - Safely load and unload shipments using forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment while adhering to OSHA standards
- Operate RF scanners and warehouse management systems to accurately pick, pack, and process orders
- Manage order picking tasks efficiently, ensuring accuracy and timeliness for shipping and receiving operations
- Load and unload materials from trucks or containers, utilizing cranes or other heavy machinery as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment by properly storing materials on pallets or shelves
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment such as forklifts and cranes to ensure safe operation
- Assist in inventory control by conducting cycle counts and verifying stock levels using warehouse systems
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or related roles with a strong understanding of warehouse operations
- Hands-on experience operating heavy equipment including forklifts, clamp trucks, cranes, and pallet jacks
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations related to warehouse activities and heavy equipment operation
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners for order processing
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the shift
- Prior experience in construction or materials handling is a plus but not required
