What We’re Looking ForWe’re hiring a hands-on, execution-minded operator to be on the ground with us in Miami as we open our first location, someone who can serve as General Manager and grow with us as we scale across South Florida and beyond.
ResponsibilitiesOperations Leadership
- P&L Ownership & Accountability in partnership operations and merchandising leadership
- Oversee all day-to-day store operations, including front-of-house, back-of-house, and guest experience
- Hire, train, and manage store-level staff and department leads
- Handle HR responsibilities, including recognition, coaching, and corrective action.
- Build a culture of wellness, hospitality, and accountability within the culinary team.
- Model and deliver exceptional customer service; set the tone for hospitality.
- Act as a visible presence on the sales floor to engage with customers and ensure service excellence.
- Uphold a standard for all team members to support guests in finding products, answering ingredient questions, and recommending items.
- Ensure front-end associates deliver exceptional hospitality, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with leadership and brand/marketing teams on promotions and in-store experiences.
Merchandising Leadership
- Place and manage orders,coordinate with vendors and distributors.
- Manage daily/weekly inventory counts and reporting.
- Control costs by minimizing shrink and optimizing ordering and production.
- Ensure shelves are fully stocked, clean, and visually appealing at all times.
- Manage store-level supply chain operations, including receiving, storage, vendor coordination, and shrink mitigation
- Implement systems for inventory, scheduling, compliance, cleanliness, and safety
- Roll out core tech systems (POS, inventory, workforce management)
- Drive performance KPIs: shrink, labor %, throughput, inventory turns, etc.
Ideal Background
- 7-10+ years of multi-unit operations experience in premium grocery, natural markets, or food retail (Whole Foods, Erewhon, Foxtrot, etc.)
- Experience opening and scaling new locations
- Proven ability to build and manage large hourly teams, including department leads and front-line staff
- Deep knowledge of store systems: POS, inventory management, scheduling, BOH/kitchen ops, and compliance
- Familiarity with all product teams: produce, meat, seafood, bakery,grocery, and culinary programs, including how to run a hot bar, grab-and-go, or on-site café
- Strong communication and leadership skills can lead by example and rally a team

Physical & Schedule Requirements
- Full-time role with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to stand and be on feet for entire shift (8+ hours).
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with hot and cold conditions.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
