Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Math Teacher to inspire and educate students in the fascinating world of mathematics. Responsibilities
- Design and deliver comprehensive lesson plans that cover core mathematical concepts including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, discrete math, differential equations, and molecular biology as applicable.
- Develop curriculum materials aligned with educational standards and tailored to diverse student needs.
- Utilize modern learning technology and instructional design techniques to enhance student engagement and understanding.
- Assess student progress through standardized testing, quizzes, projects, and classroom participation; provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively while fostering a positive, inclusive atmosphere conducive to learning.
- Mentor students individually or in groups, offering tutoring and academic advising to help them achieve their goals.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, research initiatives, and educational best practices to elevate teaching quality.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of mathematical subjects including algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, discrete math, differential equations, and related scientific research areas such as biochemistry, microbiology, genetics, cell biology, molecular biology, organic chemistry, and biochemistry.
- Proven experience in higher education teaching or classroom management within private or public school settings.
- Skilled in lesson planning, instructional design, and integrating learning technology into daily lessons.
- Excellent communication skills for working with students of varying abilities and backgrounds.
- Demonstrated ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while maintaining high standards of discipline.
- Experience with standardized testing preparation and assessment strategies.
- Strong research background with experience in laboratory settings or research laboratories is a plus.

Pay: $52,767.21 - $63,547.61 per year
