What You'll Do
As a Licensed Massage Therapist at Mountain Peak Therapeutic Massage, you'll:
- Assess each client's concerns, pain patterns, mobility, and treatment goals
- Develop individualized massage treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic and medical massage based on each client's needs
- Work with chronic pain, injuries, muscular dysfunction, and mobility limitations
- Educate clients on stretching, posture, movement, and self-care when appropriate
- Complete accurate SOAP notes and treatment documentation
- Maintain a clean, professional treatment environment
- Collaborate with our team to provide an exceptional client experience
The Clients You'll Help
Our therapists commonly work with clients experiencing:
- Neck and back pain
- Chronic muscular pain
- Sciatica
- Headaches and migraines
- TMJ dysfunction
- Trigger points and muscle tension
- Sports-related injuries
- Postural dysfunction
- Limited range of motion
- Injury recovery
- Stress-related muscular pain
Many of our clients come to us through physician referrals, VA Community Care, attorneys, insurance companies, and other healthcare providers, in addition to our established private-pay client base.
Skills We're Looking For
Experience in one or more of these modalities is especially valuable:
- Therapeutic Massage
- Medical Massage
- Deep Tissue Massage
- Trigger Point Therapy
- Myofascial Release
- Sports Massage
Additional experience or certifications are a plus, including:
- Manual Lymphatic Drainage
- Stretch Therapy
- Prenatal Massage
- TMJ Treatment
- Cupping
- Hot Stone Massage
- Injury Rehabilitation Techniques
You don't need to know every modality listed above. We're looking for therapists who are eager to learn, provide excellent care, and continue developing their clinical skills.
Qualifications
- Current Utah Massage Therapy License
- Professional liability insurance
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Professional and dependable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable completing SOAP notes and treatment documentation
- Able to work independently while contributing to a supportive team
- Passionate about helping clients reduce pain and improve their quality of life
New Graduates Are Welcome
