Job Title: Sourcing & Procurement Consultant

Job Description:
· Support delivery of consulting engagements through defined tasks and deliverables, working closely with Senior Consultants, Managers and senior team members
· Apply strategy consulting critical thinking and structured problem‑solving approaches to client challenges, with guidance from senior team members
· Gather, analyze and synthesize data to support insights and recommendations
· Build clear, accurate and professional client deliverables using M365 suite tools including PowerPoint, Excel and Gen Ai tools
· Work directly with client team members to understand requirements and context; communicate clearly and professionally
· Support workshops, interviews and working sessions through preparation, documentation and follow‑up actions.
· Build credibility through rigor, responsiveness and a strong quality mindset
· Domain foundations, procurement value delivery & supply chain excellence
· Support work across procurement and supply chain initiatives (e.g. sourcing/category analysis, contracting support, operating model reviews, supplier governance, sustainability and risk analysis), building foundational domain understanding through on‑the‑job experience
· Contribute to work that advances procurement and supply chain excellence — improving cost, service, reliability, resilience and governance through disciplined analysis and practical recommendations
· Use technology to improve the quality and speed of delivery: Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) plus emerging generative and agentic ways of working (e.g. using Copilot-style tools for drafting, analysis support, workflow automation and quality checks), with appropriate professional judgement and critical review
· Team & Practice Contribution
· Actively contribute as a reliable and engaged team member; demonstrate ownership of assigned tasks and follow through to completion
· Seek feedback and continuously develop consulting, technical and domain skills; bring curiosity and thoughtful questions to your work
Basic Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
· At least 1 years of relevant work experience in the job description
Preferred Qualifications:
· Advanced proficiency in MS Excel analysis and communication in MSWord and MS PowerPoint
· 2+ years of prior corporate experience and exposure to supply chain, procurement, operations or strategy
· Ability to be based out of our Chicago IL office
· Legally eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
· Ability to travel up to 80% of your time
