Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Groundsman to join our busy tree service team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for helping to support the lift operator by clearing debris, operating machinery, operating safety rigging and other various tasks as needed.
Duties
- Debris cleanup: such as hauling brush and feeding branches into a wood chipper
- Equipment operation: operate and maintain equipment such as chainsaws, chippers, and stump grinders
- Rigging support: manage and pull lowering ropes to guide branches safely to the ground
- Site safety: Continuously watch for hazards, keep work zones clean, ensure safety procedures are followed at all times
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Physical Fitness: ability to lift at least 50 pounds, stand for long hours, work in harsh weather
- Strong communication skills in a fast paced, loud environment
- Valid driver's license, CDL license a huge plus
- Strong work ethic is a must
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
