We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Sorter to support warehouse operations by sorting, staging, and delivering products for restocking, customer orders, and internal department requests. This position plays an important role in maintaining inventory accuracy, organizing materials, and keeping the warehouse clean and efficient.
Key Responsibilities
- Scan skids to identify part numbers and quantities.
- Sort requested materials onto new skids or carts for delivery.
- Stage skids and carts for movement to the appropriate delivery location.
- Prepare original skids so forklift drivers can return them to bulk storage.
- Move empty skids to staging areas or dispose of them as needed.
- Use the warehouse inventory system to support inventory accuracy.
- Consolidate partial skids to reduce underutilized storage space.
- Ensure skids are properly inventoried and labeled.

Additional Duties
- Maintain a clean and organized work area using 5S principles.
- Assist with training other employees as needed.
- Support other departments with production activities when required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- At least one year of related warehouse, inventory, or material handling experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment with a moderate noise level.
Pay: From $16.50 per hour
