Duties
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or food pairings to enhance their experience.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
- Develop new beverage recipes and contribute to menu updates based on current trends and customer feedback.
- Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and monitor alcohol consumption to ensure responsible service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during busy hours or special events like banquets and catering functions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in bartending, especially within fine dining or hospitality industry settings.
- Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine varieties, and craft beer brewing processes.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing transactions smoothly.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations professionally.
- Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, proper food handling procedures, and alcohol service regulations.
- Previous experience with beverage recipe development or cocktail crafting is highly desirable.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order processing.
