Bar Back Responsibilities:
- Assist with opening and closing duties (prep food, restock dishes, mop floors, clean surfaces)
- Keep bar well-stocked with ice, glasses, fruit and beer.
- Change out kegs when needed.
- Keep the bar clean by wiping down surfaces, sweeping and mopping, removing glassware, scrubbing coolers and storage areas, and emptying trash cans.
- Prep and cook food orders.
- Wash dishes as they come in.
- Check IDs at the door
- Monitor occupancy to not exceed the capacity
Bar Back Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Atleast 21 years of age
- Professional appearance and friendly, positive attitude
- Knowledge of menu items, including beers, wines, cocktails, and liquors.
- Strong problem solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, ability to handle tense situations with coworkers and customers calmly and rationally.
- Responsible, punctual, hard working
- Ability to meet physical and scheduling demands of the position, including, walking, standing, or lifting heavy items for extended periods
- Reliable transportation
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $24.00 per hour

- The position we are hiring for is 4 shifts a week. Those shifts are Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights.
Your start time can vary from 6:45 pm to 9:45 pm and we close at 2:00 am. It then takes a hour or 2 to get everything cleaned and closed down. Does this work with your schedule?
