Senior Bookkeeper
We are a well-established full-service CPA firm with offices in Palm Desert looking for a Senior Bookkeeper. Position requires client interaction and strong written and verbal communications skills. Must be a highly motivated and able to manage others.
Roles & Responsibilities
· Maintain books for multiple entities
· Recording payments and bank deposits
· Bank and credit card downloads and reconciliations
· Manage the A/R process, including payments and adjustments for deferred income
· Record AP bills, payment, and accruals
· Record and maintain financing transactions, such as loans, leases, and investments
· Completion of timely and accurate monthly close process
· Calculation and preparation of tax forms and payments (Sales, 1099s, State taxes)
· Produce financial reporting and statements
· Use critical thinking to research issues and provide meaningful solutions
· Independently interpret and apply knowledge to resolve technical accounting issues
· Partner with company third-party advisors for exchange of data and reports
Qualifications
· Extensive knowledge of QBO and Desktop
· Payroll processing experience
· Must have excellent customer service
· Driven/Self Motivated
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
