American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a Magnet-designated acute care hospital in California, requiring 2 years of L&D experience and an active CA RN license.

Patient ratio of 1:2

Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
-
No weekend requirement

No on-call requirement

Floating between like units within the facility and across facilities within the state is required
-
13-week contract
-
Charting via Epic (experience required)

Free on-site parking available

Scrubs of any color are acceptable; L&D and OR scrubs are provided
-
Active CA RN license required — pending licenses are not accepted

Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
-
Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, Advanced AWHONN Fetal Monitoring, and LA Fire Card
-
Epic EMR experience required

Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of total employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty and setting

SSN and DOB required for consideration

All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application — minimal to no RTO is preferred, and significant RTO requests may impact consideration

Block scheduling requests are subject to manager discretion

Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility

Refusal to float between facilities may result in termination of assignment
