We are expanding our internal team and looking for a relentless Director of Brand Partnerships to take over our roster's outbound sales machine, hunt down premium brand deals, and maximize monetization across the board.
The Role
As the Director of Brand Partnerships, you will be the dedicated engine behind our monetization strategy. This is a pure "hunter" role. You will own the entire sales lifecycle—from mapping out target brands and building pitch angles to negotiating contracts and closing high-dollar deals.
You aren't just selling ad space; you are pitching the cultural influence and community impact of top-tier athletes and creators.
Key Responsibilities
Own the Pipeline: Aggressively identify, pitch, and secure strategic partnerships, integrations, and endorsement deals for our talent roster.
Leverage & Build a Network: Utilize your existing rolodex of brand marketing managers, PR firms, and media buying agencies to position our talent for upcoming Q3/Q4 campaigns.
Tailored Pitching: Analyze client audience data to build high-converting media kits, pitch decks, and strategic campaign concepts that align with a brand’s specific ROI goals.
Negotiation & Closing: Structure multi-platform deals, handle contract negotiations (including content usage rights, exclusivity clauses, and deliverables), and push deals across the finish line.
Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for brand partners during negotiation, ensuring clear communication before handing off to talent for execution.
What We Are Looking For
Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of direct experience in influencer marketing sales, talent management, sports sponsorship procurement, or B2B media sales.
The Rolodex: A proven track record of closed deals and active, warm relationships with decision-makers at agencies or consumer brands.
NIL & Influencer Fluency: A deep understanding of social media metrics, content trends, and the distinct differences between pitching a lifestyle creator versus a competitive athlete.
The Hunter Mentality: Self-motivated, highly organized, and thriving in an autonomous environment where your income is a direct reflection of your execution.
Compensation & Perks
This is an uncapped, performance-driven commission role designed for a high-performing sales executive who wants to run their own desk and be compensated for the exact value they bring to the table.
Competitive Commission Splits: Earn a premium tier (10%) on all self-sourced/outbound deals, and a steady percentage (5%) on inbound deals assigned to you.
Uncapped Earning Potential: No ceilings on your commission checks. The bigger the deal you close, the bigger your payout.
Performance Milestones: Quarterly cash bonuses and tier escalators when you hit specified revenue milestones.
Elite Roster Access: Immediate access to an established, highly marketable talent roster backed by a firm that fully handles client management and execution so you can focus strictly on closing.
