Full-Time Veterinary Receptionist / Client Care Representative
Better Lives Animal Hospital is looking for an experienced, full-time receptionist to join our team!
We are a small, privately owned "mom and pop" animal hospital where our clients and patients are treated like family. We are looking for a friendly, dependable, detail-oriented individual who enjoys working with people as much as they love animals. Must have a sense of humor!
This position is often the first and last impression our clients have of our hospital, so we are looking for someone who can provide excellent customer service while keeping our front desk running smoothly.
Responsibilities include:
- Answering a multi-line phone system in a professional and compassionate manner
- Responding to client emails and other communications
- Scheduling appointments and managing the daily appointment calendar
- Greeting clients and checking patients in and out
- Processing payments for services, medications, and products
- Handling medication and product transactions accurately
- Updating and maintaining client and patient records
- Communicating effectively between clients, doctors, and support staff
- Providing knowledgeable and caring assistance to pet owners
- Helping maintain an organized and welcoming front desk environment.
Requirements:
- Previous reception experience required
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Comfortable using computers and practice management software
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a close-knit team
- A positive attitude and genuine compassion for animals and their people

Full-Time Position
Pay based on Experience.
