Certified Payroll Specialist (Temp-to-Hire)
We are seeking a Certified Payroll Specialist for a high-volume, temp-to-hire opportunity supporting a busy construction team. This role is focused on certified payroll compliance and reporting rather than payroll processing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of prevailing wage requirements, certified payroll documentation, and construction payroll regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Review and maintain certified payroll records for compliance with federal, state, and project requirements.
- Audit payroll data and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure compliance with prevailing wage laws, Davis-Bacon, and related regulations.
- Work closely with internal teams to resolve payroll compliance issues and respond to contractor or agency requests.
- Manage a high volume of certified payroll documentation while meeting strict deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Experience with certified payroll in the construction industry is required.
- Strong knowledge of prevailing wage and certified payroll compliance (including Davis-Bacon).
- Ability to manage a high-volume workload with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
