THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for a motivated Project Engineer to join our Civil Engineering team, with a focus on land development. In this role, you will contribute to a wide range of public and private projects — residential, commercial, and industrial site development — while growing your technical skills under the guidance of experienced senior engineers. This is a hands-on role with real project responsibility and a clear path for professional development.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Perform engineering design, analysis, and calculations for land development projects, including grading, drainage, utilities, and site layout
- Prepare construction plans, specifications, and technical reports for site development
- Assist with project management tasks including schedule tracking, client communications, and coordination with subconsultants and contractors
- Conduct site visits, field investigations, and construction observation as needed
- Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, architects, and surveyors across land development and energy projects
- Contribute to the preparation of proposals and scopes of work for site clients
QUALIFICATIONS
- Required: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- Required: Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
- Preferred: 1–5 years of relevant civil engineering experience (internship experience counts)
- Preferred: Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, or similar design software
- Preferred: Experience with land development, site civil design sectors
- Plus: PE licensure or active progress toward licensure
