Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile <PERSON> to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in various aspects of construction, carpentry, and restoration projects. This role involves executing complex tasks across multiple trades, including framing, drywall, roofing, plumbing, electrical work, and finishing. The <PERSON> will be responsible for ensuring high-quality craftsmanship on diverse projects, from new construction to restoration and remodeling efforts. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency with hand tools, power tools, blueprint reading, and schematics, along with the ability to perform heavy lifting and work safely on construction sites. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to dynamic projects requiring technical expertise and a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
- Perform construction estimating and project planning in collaboration with project managers
- Execute framing, trim carpentry, drywall installation, and metal stud framing with precision
- Install fixtures, doors, siding, cabinetry, flooring, tile, and stucco with attention to detail
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently across various tasks
- Read blueprints and schematics to accurately execute project specifications
- Conduct concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, and roofing as required
- Engage in water damage restoration, mold remediation, water proofing, and general restoration projects
- Assist with plumbing and electrical installations ensuring compliance with codes
- Fabricate custom components using woodworking or metalworking techniques
- Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks safely on-site
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion
Skills
- Extensive experience in construction estimating and blueprint reading
- Proficiency in trim carpentry, framing carpentry, drywall installation, roofing, masonry, plumbing, electrical work, and finishing trades such as plastering and painting
- Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools specific to carpentry and construction industries
- Knowledge of schematics for electrical systems or mechanical layouts
- Experience with fabrication techniques including metal stud framing or custom woodworking
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during demanding tasks
- Familiarity with the restoration industry including mold remediation and water damage repair
- Strong understanding of safety protocols on construction sites
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on quality craftsmanship
