The Abigail is a privately-owned 24-bed residential care home for seniors in Redwood City. As an independently owned RCFE, we have the flexibility to focus on what truly matters by tailoring care and services to the unique needs of each resident through thoughtful, individualized support that promotes wellness, recovery, dignity, and the highest quality of life.
We are hiring Caregivers for the NOC shift (10pm - 6:30am); full-time and part-time shifts are available Monday-Sunday. This is an hourly position with a pay range of $23-$25/hour depending on experience. Must pass LiveScan criminal background check, have reliable transportation, and be flexible to pick up extra shifts or work overtime as needed.
Job Details:
- Provide compassionate and personalized care to senior residents
- Observe, monitor and document changes in clients' condition and communicate effectively with staff and clinicians
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and medication reminders
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment
- Engage residents in meaningful activities and cognitive stimulation exercises
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience working as a registered Caregiver in a senior living setting
- Experience working with individuals with dementia, physical or behavioral challenges, and/or assisted living
- Pass fingerprint LiveScan criminal background check
- Negative TB test or clear chest x-ray
- Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
