Johnson Bros. Rubber Company is a premier sponge rubber molder specializing in custom molded cellular sponge and solid (dense) rubber products for over 75 years. We offer complete in-house service from development of compounds to mixing, testing, prepping, and molding.
Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician will oversee the day-to-day maintenance operations contributing towards improving safety and maintenance efficiencies. 1st shift hours are Monday through Thursday 10 hour days and some 1/2 days on Fri.
Experience, required skills/abilities:
- 2 Years maintenance and mechanical experience
- Troubleshoot and maintain all machines and equipment
- Ability to follow a complete maintenance program for all machinery, equipment and building infrastructure
- Follow up on maintenance repairs for timeliness and accuracy
- Manage several priorities at once
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Passionate about maintaining a safe work environment
- Work with a sense of urgency to reduce downtime of machines
- Must have a valid driver's license
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $26.00 per hour
