Position Overview:The Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) is responsible for providing evidence-based therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and families within an inpatient behavioral health environment. The LICSW works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to create and implement individualized treatment plans, facilitate therapeutic groups, and support discharge and aftercare planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical needs, diagnosis, and patient goals.
- Provide direct therapeutic services including individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based modalities.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams—including nursing, medical, case management, and support staff—to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation within the Electronic Health Record (EHR), in compliance with HIPAA, Joint Commission, and facility standards.
- Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning meetings and contribute to case reviews, discharge planning, and clinical updates.
- Support patient transitions by contributing to discharge planning, continuity of care, and coordination with external providers or community-based services.
- Adhere to ethical, professional, and legal standards in the delivery of behavioral health services.
- Participate in clinical supervision, continuing education, and training to remain current with best practices and licensure requirements.
- Contribute to a trauma-informed and culturally sensitive therapeutic environment.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives and uphold the mission, vision, and values of Haven Treatment Center.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
- Current and active Washington State LICSW license.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health or healthcare setting.
- Familiarity with trauma-informed care and EHR documentation standards.
- Must pass a TB test, background check, and drug screening prior to employment.
- Pass EHR/EMR Tebra training within 30 days of orientation.
- With a background in mental health or healthcare.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00 - $48.00 per hour
