Quality Stone Veneer is looking for a highly motivated person to join our team as a Maintenance Worker. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking candidate to perform daily maintenance and mechanic duties at our Tower City Plant location . You will be assessing, diagnosing, and fixing any problems that may arise. Quality Stone Veneer is celebrating its 50th year in business this year and is growing. Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery, equipment, and systems
- Follow preventative maintenance plans for equipment
- Perform service work on: skid-loaders, forklifts, pick-up tricks, some electric motors, diesel/gasoline/propane engines, cement mixers, conveyor tables, etc.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and maintenance issues
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and address them in a timely manner
- Respond to maintenance requests and prioritize tasks based on urgency
- Establish and follow preventive maintenance plans for equipment
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in facilities maintenance or a similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Specific experience in stick welding, torch cutting, diesel engines, hydraulics
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
- Experience with 110-,220-, and 480-volt electircal work a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
