Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Prepare cold appetizers, salads, charcuterie boards, and garnishes with precision and artistic flair
- Assist in menu planning by developing innovative cold dish offerings aligned with culinary standards
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitizing procedures to ensure a hygienic kitchen environment
- Operate kitchen equipment such as slicers, mixers, and refrigeration units safely and efficiently
- Support food production for catering events and high-volume service periods while maintaining consistency
- Practice excellent food handling techniques, including poaching, braising, grilling, and other cooking methods as needed for cold preparations
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure recipe adherence and timely meal preparation
Qualifications
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques such as poaching, braising, grilling, and food handling
- Experience with menu planning and recipe development for cold dishes in fine dining or restaurant environments
- Knowledge of food safety management practices including sanitizing procedures and proper food storage
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment efficiently in a high-volume production setting
- Culinary experience with a focus on presentation, garnishing, and creative plating techniques
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure quality standards are consistently met
