Job Summary
Backlot Taphouse is looking for an energetic, knowledgeable Bartender to join our team! If you love great beer, craft cocktails, and creating a welcoming atmosphere, this role is a perfect fit. Our bartenders are at the heart of the guest experience — pouring beer, mixing drinks, taking food orders, and keeping the bar running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, attentive service to guests at the bar.
- Mix and serve classic and specialty cocktails accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain strong knowledge of beer styles, draft offerings, and rotating features.
- Take guest orders for both beverages and food items.
- Deliver food and bus tables during slower shifts.
- Operate the POS system for orders, payments, and tabs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
- Restock beer, liquor, garnishes, glassware, and supplies throughout the shift.
- Perform open and closing cleaning duties.
- Ensure guests have a safe, enjoyable experience.
Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience strongly preferred.
- Solid knowledge of craft beer styles and cocktail techniques.
- Must be 19+ to serve alcohol in Nebraska.
- Strong communication and multitasking skills.
- Ability to maintain a positive, welcoming attitude during busy hours.
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working evenings and weekends.
- Open availability preferred.

- $5 per hour + tips
- Part-time, flexible schedule
