INTEGRA Design Group is currently seeking a Project Controls Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting the planning, monitoring, and control of infrastructure and construction-related projects through schedule management, cost tracking, reporting, risk analysis, and performance monitoring activities.
The ideal candidate will contribute to multidisciplinary projects by assisting project managers and technical teams in maintaining accurate project controls documentation, monitoring project performance, and supporting successful project delivery from planning through completion.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Analyze and report project data to support informed decision-making related to project management, performance, quality, and control.
- Develop, establish, and maintain project baselines used to monitor project progress and performance.
- Monitor project schedules and identify trends, delays, and deviations from approved plans while recommending corrective actions.
- Apply project scheduling and progress control techniques considering resource availability and project uncertainties.
- Support cost control activities including budget tracking, cost monitoring, forecasting, and reporting.
- Assist in the implementation and monitoring of quality control processes and performance standards.
- Support project risk management activities by identifying, evaluating, and tracking project risks and mitigation measures.
- Assist with scope management processes, including change tracking, documentation updates, and coordination of project modifications.
- Maintain project controls documentation, reports, logs, and supporting records.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, consultants, and stakeholders to support overall project performance and compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Planning, Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Experience supporting project controls, scheduling, cost management, or project performance monitoring.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to interpret project data and identify trends.
- Experience with project reporting, schedule analysis, and performance tracking.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Preferred fluent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting infrastructure, construction, or federally funded projects.
- Familiarity with project controls methodologies, scheduling tools, and reporting systems.
- Knowledge of risk management, cost control, and quality management processes.
