Antelope is seeking a Quality & Regulatory Specialist to join our Operations team and help ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. This is a high-impact role with meaningful ownership from day one, offering the opportunity to lead investigations, manage regulatory compliance, and partner cross-functionally to drive continuous improvement across our growing portfolio of premium pet brands.
You'll work closely with our Head of Quality & Regulatory while serving as a key partner to Operations, Manufacturing, R&D, Customer Service, and supplier partners. As you build expertise and demonstrate leadership, this role offers a clear path toward a Senior Coordinator, Regulatory Affairs, or Quality Manager position.

Lead investigations into customer complaints, product defects, deviations, and non-conformances.

Conduct root cause analyses and drive timely corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).

Partner with suppliers and co-manufacturers to manage Corrective Action Requests (CARs) through resolution.

Own state product registrations, renewals, and regulatory submissions across all applicable states.

Serve as Antelope's primary contact with state regulatory agencies.

Maintain regulatory compliance with FDA, AAFCO, NASC, and other applicable regulations.

Maintain quality documentation, SOPs, and compliance records.

Monitor quality trends and non-conformance data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Support development and enhancement of quality management systems and processes.

Prepare documentation for internal, customer, supplier, and regulatory audits.

Help ensure the organization maintains continuous audit readiness.

Collaborate with Operations, Manufacturing, R&D, Customer Service, and external manufacturing partners to resolve quality issues.

Support new product launches by ensuring quality and regulatory requirements are met.

Help strengthen supplier quality and compliance programs.

Prioritize multiple investigations, compliance deadlines, and regulatory activities simultaneously.

Build scalable processes that improve efficiency while maintaining compliance.

Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biology, Animal Science, or another related scientific discipline.

1 to 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Regulatory Affairs, Food Safety, or Compliance.

Experience within pet food, food & beverage, pharmaceuticals, consumer packaged goods, dietary supplements, or another regulated manufacturing industry.

Strong investigation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Exceptional organization and attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple priorities independently while collaborating across teams.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.

Experience in the pet food or animal nutrition industry.

Working knowledge of FDA, AAFCO, NASC, and FSVP regulations.

Experience with CAPA systems, complaint handling, supplier quality, or quality management systems (QMS).

HACCP certification or willingness to obtain.

PCQI, ASQ Auditor, CQE, or related quality certifications.
