American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Case Manager for an acute care facility in California, requiring current acute hospital case management experience, InterQual knowledge, and Epic proficiency.

Patient caseload ratio of 1:20

Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts (8:00–16:30)

At least 2 weekend shifts required per 4-week schedule

Floating between all facilities within California is expected and required

Uses Epic EMR

Active CA RN license required (pending license accepted)

Minimum 2 years of case management experience required

Experience must be current — candidates who have not worked in an acute hospital case management role within the last 6 months will not be considered

Knowledge of InterQual criteria required

Epic EMR experience required

At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting required for consideration

Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

First-time travelers will not be considered for this position

RTO is limited to no more than 7 days for the duration of the assignment

Former permanent employees of this Providence facility must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility

Business casual attire with a lab coat, or dark solid scrubs with a lab coat, is required

Refusal to float between facilities may result in termination of the assignment
