Number One Fifth is a 44 year Old, all inclusive, LGBTQ+ establishment that has been offering a safe space for our community and friends to congregate, have fun, and feel safe in their own skin. We are customer-centric, fast-paced, professional and our goal is to Hire 1-2 Security Guards to join the Number One Fifth family. We are seeking professional and reliable individuals that foster a great work ethic, and are extremely comfortable in LGBTQ+ establishments. We are looking to Schedule 1-4 shifts per week depending on availability. The job will require working evenings, weekends and occasional holidays
```Duties```
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for patrons and staff
- Monitor and control access to the establishment
- Check identification of individuals to ensure legal drinking age compliance
- Handle difficult or unruly individuals in a professional and calm manner
- Conduct regular surveillance of the premises to detect any suspicious activity
- Respond promptly and effectively to any incidents or emergencies that may arise
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary
-Crowd Control / Capacity Monitoring
-Documeting and creating detailed incident reports as needed
```Requirements```
- Previous experience in, security, or a related field is preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification is required
- Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations effectively
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
- Ability to read patrons alcohol intake and assess when a situation may need to be escalated
- Familiarity with loss prevention strategies and procedures
- Must be physically fit and able to perform the duties of the job, including standing for long periods of time
-Must have your BSIS Guard Card and RBS (Responsible Beverage Service ) Certification required by the ABC (Alcoholic Beverage Control)
-Must be comfortable working in a very well known LGBTQ+ establishment
