MUST HAVE CONSTRUCTION SALES EXPERIENCE
Express Employment is hiring a motivated and customer-focused Counter Sales Representative fora client in the Heavy Construction division. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and support while assisting them with their equipment and material needs. Your ability to communicate effectively and understand customer requirements will be key to ensuring a positive experience. This role will pay $18 - $20 per hour.
COMPANY OBJECTIVE: Primary responsibility of all employees is to maintain excellent relationships with all of our customers, which means being courteous, respectful and putting the customer first at all times!
Counter Sales
Ø Primary Responsibilities: greats and assists walk-in customers
Ø Assist with phone orders from customers
Ø Keep the showroom & counter stocked, clean and appealing
Ø Keep your work area clean
Ø Assist with end of day trash, sweeping etc. “house-keeping”
Ø Obtain special order pricing for customers, fill out purchase order requests and fax to our Purchasing Department, track shipments, alert customers when received
Ø Coordinate deliveries with Operations Manager
Ø Keep up with the status of “Will Call” tickets and back-order tickets
Ø Coordinate transfer requests
Ø Reconcile daily cash draw and all paperwork for corporate
Ø Assist in the warehouse when needed
Ø Pass on to outside sales all quotes you have, let them know of job leads from customers
Ø Carry out any other duties that are within the scope of this position, assigned by a manager
