Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS systems
- Assist guests with menu selections, including recommendations and upselling techniques to enhance their dining experience
- Handle food safety and sanitation standards diligently during food handling, preparation, and serving processes
- Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashiering and processing payments via Toast and Valor Paytech
- Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff with basic food preparation or food running when needed
- Foster guest relations through excellent customer service and resolve any concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction
Qualifications
- Proven restaurant experience with a strong background in food service and guest relations
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast
- Previous fine dining or nightclub serving experience highly preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to increase sales opportunities
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor that enhances guest experiences
- Basic math skills for cash handling and bill splitting; previous cashiering experience is advantageous
- Willingness to support team efforts through bussing orhost/hostess duties
