Jenkins Home Care is looking for a reliable, organized, and proactive Office Assistant to support our daily operations. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys helping others behind the scenes.
Pay Range: $13 – $15/hour
Employment Type: Part-time (20–30 hours/week)
Work Location: In-person, Charleston, SC
Answer and direct phone calls in a professional manner
Greet visitors and assist with in-office inquiries
Assist with scheduling caregiver shifts and client visits
Maintain accurate client and caregiver records
File, scan, and organize documentation (both physical and digital)
Assist with onboarding and HR paperwork for new hires
Support billing, data entry, and light bookkeeping
Perform general office upkeep (ordering supplies, tidying, etc.)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Friendly, professional communication skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
Experience with scheduling or home care software is a plus
Must be dependable, punctual, and a self-starter
Monday through Friday 10am-4pm
Daytime hours, with some flexibility
Occasional weekend check-ins or remote support, if needed
