Job Overview
Salty Seagull Moving Company is seeking a reliable and physically capable Mover to join our team. This role is part time with potential to evolve into full time hours. This role involves assisting clients with moving and delivery services, ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of belongings. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent customer service skills, and experience operating various moving equipment. This position offers an active work environment with opportunities to develop skills in logistics and transportation. Meeting point for shared ride to locations is in Murrells Inlet. We serve all of the Grand Strand Area.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload furniture, boxes, and other items safely using proper lifting techniques
- Assist clients with packing, unpacking, and organizing belongings during moves
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively and professionally with clients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of moving equipment and vehicles
Requirements
- Prior experience in moving, warehouse work, or delivery driving is preferred but willing to train the right individual.
- Ability to consistently lift 100+ pounds as necessary
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods
- Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude
- Physical stamina to handle active lifting, loading, and unloading tasks throughout the day
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
