Job Title: Production specialist
Accountability: Works with store team for project collaboration; responsible to Store Manager
Schedule: Hourly, part time, hours per week;
Position Summary: The Store Associate provides for the agency’s mission by providing a clean, safe, and friendly store operation while delivering exceptional customer service to shoppers and the people SVdP serves. Responsible for providing quality customer service and compassion to the people that SVdP serves. This person works closely with other store associates, logistics team members, neighbors in need, and leadership team members.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Friendly worker with personable attitude
- Motivated, energetic, knowledgeable, and positive sales associate
sorting and pricing of donated materials in preparation for the sales floor
- Prep clothing and back up pricer
- Grow sales by helping get inventory on the salesfloor sorting donated clothing for pricers, and back up pricing.
- Assist with recycling efforts to ensure safe and efficient processing of materials.
- Collaborate with leadership team to ensure higher value items appropriately priced
- Assume additional responsibilities as needed
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to communicate and work effectively with staff, volunteers, and donors
- Regularly lift and/or move objects weighing 10-30 lbs
