Ahma & Co is a premier postpartum retreat designed to provide new mothers with the rest, care, and support they deserve. Nestled in the serene coastal setting of Dana Point, CA, we offer expert-led services—including postpartum recovery care, newborn care assistance, lactation support, nourishing meals, and bodywork—to facilitate deep postpartum healing.
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Massage Therapist with experience in postpartum bodywork to join our team and support new mothers in their recovery journey.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide nurturing, restorative massages tailored to postpartum recovery, including techniques that support circulation & muscular tension relief.
- Create a calming and supportive environment for new mothers to relax and heal.
- Offer personalized care based on each guest’s physical and emotional needs.
- Work collaboratively with Ahma & Co’s wellness team, including doulas, lactation educators, and holistic health practitioners.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the treatment space.
- Educate guests on the benefits of postpartum massage and self-care techniques.
Qualifications & Experience
- Licensed Massage Therapist in the state of California.
- Specialized training or experience in prenatal and postpartum massage is highly preferred.
- A deep understanding of postpartum recovery and the unique needs of new mothers.
- Warm, empathetic, and professional demeanor.
- Ability to create a tranquil and nurturing experience for clients.
- Flexible schedule with availability for on-call or scheduled appointments.
- Must be a good communicator, with the ability to stay organized and committed to pre-scheduled appointments.
- Availability on weekend days a plus.

- Due to our proximity to newborns, our Massage Therapists must be vaccinated for MMR and Tdap (within the last 10 years), and provide a TB clearance.
