Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of HVAC systems across commercial and residential properties. Your expertise will ensure optimal climate control, energy efficiency, and system reliability. Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to ensure precise installation and repairs.
- Conduct routine inspections of HVAC equipment to identify issues early and prevent system failures.
- Perform plumbing work related to HVAC systems such as drainage, piping repairs, and component replacements.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to diagnose electrical faults and perform mechanical repairs.
- Service refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration units used in commercial applications.
- Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports for all maintenance activities performed.
Experience
- Proven experience as a service technician specializing in HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration) systems.
- Hands-on experience with equipment repair involving appliances, boilers, pumps, motors, and mechanical components.
- Knowledge of construction practices related to HVAC installation projects.
- Familiarity with schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design principles for effective troubleshooting.
- Mechanical knowledge encompassing welding techniques and property maintenance tasks.
- Field service experience working directly on-site with diverse HVAC equipment in various environments.
