Infinity Care of East LA is a 99-bed Skilled Nursing Facility specializing in long-term care and behavioral health services, with a strong focus on psychiatric support.
We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing department.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Director of Nursing is responsible for overseeing all nursing operations within the facility, ensuring the delivery of high-quality resident care in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing skilled nursing facilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide leadership and oversight of all nursing staff and clinical operations within the SNF
- Ensure compliance with all CMS, CDPH, and other regulatory requirements
- Develop and implement nursing department goals aligned with facility objectives
- Oversee resident care plans, admissions, discharges, and overall clinical outcomes
- Monitor quality measures, infection control programs, and performance improvement initiatives (QAPI)
- Manage nursing department budgets, staffing, and resource allocation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, therapy, social services, and administration
- Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards
- Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff to maintain high performance and retention
- Address clinical concerns, incidents, and grievances in a timely and professional manner
- Participate in surveys, audits, and ensure ongoing survey readiness
- Perform additional duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
- Active California RN license in good standing
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Director of Nursing in a Skilled Nursing Facility
- Strong knowledge of SNF regulations, survey process, and compliance standards
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proven leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead interdisciplinary teams effectively
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Bilingual Spanish preferred

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $150,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year
