Company Description: Dye's Appliance is a local, family-run home services company serving the Kansas City metro. We repair major appliances in customers' homes — refrigerators, ranges, washers, dryers, dishwashers, and more. We've built our reputation on two things: clear communication and honesty. We don't sell people repairs they don't need, and our employees aren't pushed to pad tickets. If you're a good appliance repairman who's tired of being treated like a salesperson, you'll fit right in.
What You'll Do:
- Diagnose and repair major home appliances in customers' homes
- Communicate clearly with customers — explain what you found, what it'll take to fix it, and what it costs
- Accurately order the right parts the first time
- Keep clean job notes, model/serial info, and proper closeouts
- Treat every home and every customer like they're your neighbor (because they are)
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in in-home major appliance repair (the more brands and unit types, the better)
- Someone who can actually diagnose — understand how the machine works and reason through a problem, not just swap parts and hope
- Strong, honest communication with customers
- Reliable, on time, and able to manage a daily route
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Your own hand tools (we provide the truck, parts, and everything else)
