Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master Automotive Technician to join our heated and cooled shop environment. Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on all vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and powertrain components.
- Conduct advanced repairs on gasoline and diesel engines, including troubleshooting
- Use schematics, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately and efficiently.
- Execute vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, and suspension work.
- Repair or replace automotive electrical systems
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive service tools to complete repairs with precision.
- Maintain detailed service records, communicate findings clearly to customers, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Keep the shop organized, adhere to safety protocols, and stay current with industry advancements through ongoing training.
Experience
- Proven dealership experience or extensive background as an automotive technician at a master or advanced level.
- Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle makes and models; familiarity with diesel vehicles is a plus.
- Demonstrated expertise in automotive diagnostics using modern scan tools and schematics.
- Experience repairing engines and working with complex automotive electrical systems.
- Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration, wheel alignments, vehicle maintenance procedures, and powertrain repairs.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to clearly explain technical issues to clients.
- Valid mechanic certification(s) or equivalent experience; ongoing professional development preferred.
