Moreland is privately owned and headquartered in Seattle, Washington. The company began as an affiliate of Windermere Real Estate to help protect the interests of their franchise owners, agents, and their clients. Moreland has grown into a full-service independent insurance agency serving the Western United States, focused on providing a superior insurance experience.
We offer a competitive, exciting, and friendly work environment that strategically positions our employees for longevity and success. We believe in empowering our clients, and we do so by protecting businesses and individuals in our local communities. We help individuals evaluate their risks and develop solutions tailored to their needs.
About the Role
This is a sales-driven producer role and the cornerstone of Moreland’s expansion into California. As one of our first hires in the market, you will be the face of the Moreland brand across the state — the local presence Windermere Real Estate offices, brokers, and clients come to know and trust. You will pursue and close new Property and Casualty accounts, build a personal book of business, and represent Moreland’s values and standard of service in every interaction.
This is more than a desk. It is a ground-floor opportunity to establish Moreland in a new market and grow with it. We are looking for someone who wants to own a market, not just a territory.
Success in this position requires strong communication skills, in-depth knowledge of personal lines insurance products, and the ability to manage and retain assigned clients. The role also offers the opportunity to collaborate directly with Windermere Real Estate offices and brokers, giving you a relationship-driven referral advantage few producers ever have.
