Never Stop Grinding Impact (NSG Impact) is hiring motivated and caring individuals to serve as Youth Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Facilitators in elementary schools throughout the Rialto Unified School District. This role takes place in a classroom setting, after school hours with a 20:1 student ratio. It is perfect for those who want to make a positive impact in the lives of youth, no prior SEL experience is required, and all training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate engaging SEL lesson plans for elementary students
- Supervise and manage a classroom of up to 20 students
- Build meaningful mentor relationships with students
- Encourage positive behavior and model strong social-emotional skills
- Record daily attendance and submit required documentation
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
- Participate in comprehensive training and ongoing team check-ins
Qualifications
- Must be 20 years of age or older
- No teaching or SEL experience required — we provide full training
- Experience working with youth in any setting (school, camp, recreation, mentorship, etc.) is strongly desired
- Strong communication skills, leadership qualities, and classroom presence
- Positive, patient, and committed to serving elementary-age children
- Must be punctual, professional, and dependable
- Must be able to pass a Department of Justice (DOJ) background check
- No criminal record of any kind is permitted under state clearance requirements
- Ability to follow lesson plans and maintain classroom structure
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a supportive team
- Available to work after school hours, typically beginning at 2:00pm (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) (must be available)
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
