Pneuma Counseling | Mandeville, Louisiana**
Pneuma Counseling is seeking a high-capacity, deeply compassionate PLPC who desires to be shaped, trained, and mentored by a seasoned trauma therapist and clinical supervisor with over a decade of specialized work in trauma recovery.
Our Supervisor is a long-time student of Dr. Bessel van der Kolk and has developed a distinctive, faith-integrated clinical approach that merges a Christian worldview with leading evidence-based modalities—including EMDR, Neurofeedback, IFS, and Lifespan Integration Therapy. Her clinical background also includes over 300 hours of trauma-specific training and an international internship in Cambodia serving children rescued from sex trafficking.
Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking a PLPC who is:
- Teachable, humble, and eager to grow in advanced trauma-recovery modalities
- Engaged in their own therapeutic work, with enough self-awareness to remain grounded, present, and non-anxious in the room
- Deeply compassionate, client-centered, and aligned with a Christ-centered worldview (not legalistic, dogmatic, or judgmental)
- Committed to practicing excellence, integrity, emotional maturity, and ethical professionalism
- Able to honor at least a one-year clinical commitment to clients
- Comfortable with light administrative tasks and proactive communication
- Provisionally licensed (PLPC) or soon-to-be-licensed in Louisiana
Whether you’re a new graduate or a clinician seeking deep hands-on experience with trauma recovery, we invite you to apply.
