Job Title: Substitute Food Service Worker
Hours of Work: 7:00am-1:45pm
Compensation: $12.05-12.64/hr.
Job Summary:
Perform functions required in Food Service on a substitue basis:

Be able to prepare items on menus according to receipes & production forms
-
Complete production forms at the end of the day
-
Assist in serving during lunch lines- clean up food at the end of the day
-
Wash pans and dishes as needed- Empty dishroom and station trash at the end of the day
-
Be able to assist other positions in the kitchen as needed
-
Follow all safety regulations
-
Assist with special promotions for staff and students
-
Understand USDA regulations for reimbursable meal requirements
-
Complete all food service training
-
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
-
Be able to stand for long periods of time
-
Lift up to 50 lbs
-
Tolerate varying temperatures in coolers, freezers and dish room
-
Tolerate fast-paced serving times
-
Assist with special promotions for staff and students as well as assist with Special Functions including evening banquets

Must be able to multi-task
-
Must know current food safety regulations as well as current meal component requirements in order to accurately recognize reimbursable meals
