American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position supporting an Epic conversion, requiring CA licensure, dual Cerner and Epic experience, and a minimum of 3 years of ER experience.

Both Cerner and Epic EMR experience are required for this role

Active CA RN license required

Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (all American Heart Association)

Minimum 3 years of ER nursing experience required

Must have worked in the ER specialty within the last 3 months

Minimum 6 months of Epic experience within the last 12 months required

Cerner experience also required

Active, unrestricted license with no prior hits required

Two supervisor references required — one from the past year and one from within the past two years

This is an Epic conversion contract — candidates must be comfortable navigating both Cerner and Epic environments

No RTO (time off) will be approved for this contract; candidates requesting more than 5 days of RTO will not be considered

Orientation available on either of two dates in early August
