In this energetic position, you will support arborists and landscape professionals by performing essential groundskeeping tasks, operating specialized equipment, and ensuring that all outdoor areas meet high standards of safety and aesthetic appeal. Your work will directly contribute to creating inviting, well-maintained environments that inspire and delight.
Responsibilities
- Assist with tree care activities including pruning, trimming, and removal using arborist rigging techniques and chainsaws
- Operate bucket trucks and other equipment safely to access high or difficult-to-reach areas for tree trimming
- Support tree removal projects by rigging and safely handling large branches or trees using appropriate arborist techniques
- Follow strict safety protocols during all outdoor work, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and equipment handling procedures
- Perform general groundskeeping duties such as pruning, running ropes, chipping brush, raking, and general cleanup
Qualifications
Must have a drivers license, however prior experience in tree care is not required.
