Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional check-in experience.
- Manage guest reservations efficiently using hotel management software, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Handle guest inquiries via phone and in person, providing information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services with enthusiasm.
- Maintain smooth operations at the front desk by answering multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette.
- Assist guests with requests such as room changes, billing questions, or special accommodations to enhance their stay.
- Conduct night audits when scheduled, verifying daily transactions and ensuring financial accuracy while maintaining high guest service standards.
- Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to resolve guest issues promptly and effectively.
- Uphold guest relations by providing personalized service that exceeds expectations, fostering loyalty and positive reviews.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hotel management or front desk operations within a hospitality environment.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally and politely.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to communicate effectively with a diverse clientele.
- Knowledge of hotel management systems and multi-line phone systems for efficient operation.
- Experience with night audit procedures is preferred but not required; training will be provided if necessary.
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and guest interaction techniques.
- Ability to remain energetic, attentive, and organized during busy shifts, especially during night hours or peak seasons.
