Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment used to move, stack, and inspect ISO containers. The ideal candidate is safety‑focused, reliable, and skilled in maneuvering heavy equipment in fast‑paced environments.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment in compliance with company safety policies and procedures
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform preventative maintenance
- Follow all standard operating procedures for equipment operation and maintenance
- Lift ISO containers from chassis and stack up to four (4) high
- Place ISO containers onto chassis and secure all corners safely and correctly
- Perform daily safety and maintenance checks
- Clean and properly store equipment as required
- Report maintenance or repair needs to Supervisor
- Participate in routine maintenance activities
- Complete all required paperwork accurately
- Perform Gate In/Gate Out procedures
- Inspect ISO containers
- Practice safe work habits at all times
- Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge and Skills
- Strong understanding of safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation
- Ability to safely and properly use assigned tools and equipment
- Ability to follow instructions from supervisors
- Ability to maneuver and stack ISO containers safely
- Reliable, punctual, and safety‑driven
- Report to work on time and as scheduled
Working Conditions
- Work is performed both indoors and outdoors
- Operation of equipment on paved and unpaved surfaces
- May require working beyond normal hours to complete assignments
- Physically demanding role requiring lifting, pulling, and handling heavy equipment and objects
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions, including extreme heat or cold
- Must ensure all activities are completed safely and efficiently

Minimum Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator
- Must pass a pre‑employment drug screen
- Must pass a hands‑on maneuvering and stacking test
- Must pass a written test
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
