Social Media Coordinator

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
The Social Media and Marketing Coordinator focuses on planning, creating, and executing organic and paid digital marketing, supporting the affiliate/influencer program, and advancing Cairnspring Mills online marketing efforts to drive sales and support company growth. They will support day-to-day marketing activities and long-term strategy, thriving under tight deadlines, lean budgets, and the evolving needs of a growing business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan, schedule, and publish organic content across social media platforms in alignment with the content calendar and brand voice.
- Create engaging social media copy, including captions, stories, and short-form content.
- Monitor and engage with online communities through timely responses to comments, direct messages, and brand mentions, following established customer service procedures.
- Assist with the execution and performance monitoring of paid social media campaigns.
- Identify, develop, and manage relationships with influencers, partners, and community stakeholders, including outreach, gifting, and collaboration coordination.
- Track social media performance metrics, budgets, and campaign results; prepare regular reports and actionable insights.
- Identify content trends and top-performing content to optimize future marketing efforts.
- Support marketing initiatives through research, project tracking, administrative coordination, and maintenance of marketing assets and reporting tools.
- Support event coverage through real-time content creation and social media posting.
- Promote the Cairnspring brand and culture internally and externally while helping build brand awareness and community engagement.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 1–3 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Experience managing social media platforms such as Instagram & Facebook .
- Strong written communication and copywriting skills.
- Familiarity with social media scheduling and analytics tools.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain brand voice and standards.
- Customer service mindset with experience engaging online communities professionally.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience supporting paid social media campaigns.
- Experience managing platforms such as TikTok, LinkedIn, & Pinterest
- Experience working with influencers, creators, or brand partnerships.
- Basic graphic design and content creation skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, etc.).
- Experience with social media reporting, analytics, and performance tracking.
- Photography and/or short-form video content creation experience.
- Experience in food, retail, consumer packaged goods (CPG), hospitality, or lifestyle brands.

Working Locations: Hybrid ( In-person at least 1 day per week)
Employment Type: Part-time Duration: Permanent
Pay: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour
