Duties
- Assist with day-to-day coordination of pharmacy tasks
- Intake and data entry of prescription orders and prescription transfers
- Reconcile third party rejections and prior authorization requests
- Manage drug inventory levels and verify deliveries against purchase orders
- Counsel patients on medication use, dosing, directions, side effects, et al.
- Recommend alternative medications to prescribers when appropriate
- Administer immunizations
- Medication therapy management via Outcomes MTM
- Quality Assurance of prescriptions
- Assist patients in choosing appropriate OTC medications
Qualifications
- Valid South Carolina Pharmacist License
- Immunization Certification
- Experience with PioneerRx is a plus
- Enjoy leading and managing others.
- Strong work ethic and a “Can Do” attitude.
- Readily accepts new responsibilities and takes ownership in their role.
- Critical thinking skills and the ability to see the big picture.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Demonstrates loyalty, fosters teamwork, and sets a positive example.

Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
