$30.26 p/hr
DESCRIPTION:
The Classroom-based Nurse works under the direction of the classroom teacher and the Certified School Nurse (CSN) in implementing the individual student's health and education plan.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (not an all-inclusive list):

Maintains daily communication with the teacher and CSN regarding significant student concerns and student care decisions.

Performs assessments and treatment of the students as directed by the Health Care Plan and Standing Orders.

Administers student medications in accordance with Central Bucks School District Policy and Nurse Practice Act.

Completes and submits student accident reports when appropriate.

Completes other duties as assigned by the classroom teacher and nursing coordinator.

May be reassigned as a substitute in another building by the immediate supervisor if the student is not in school.

Provides supervision to student in non-classroom activities such as recess, lunch, arrival, dismissal and bathroom.
REQUIREMENTS:
Licensed Practical/Registered Nurse, current CPR/AED,
Registered Nurse preferred
